Welcome to the 15th Ward TREK 2014 blog.  It's time to start getting our boots (and our bodies) ready for a long walk.  We suggest you set a goal for  how far you'll walk each week.  Start with low mileage and gradually work up to 10 miles or more.  Wear two pair of socks , one thin nylon and one thicker wool, and the shoes or boots you plan to wear on the Trek.  It's a good idea to wear a hat and carry water.  Don't forget to drink the water!  Happy trails----
